Conditions: Listed achievers will be sorted according to their birth date if known. If not known then by approximation of birth date, which will be made by the editors of IFO (IraqFactsOnline).
Included will be those achievers either born in Iraq, trained in Iraq, or achieved academically while in Iraq.
Teaching while in Iraq, per se will not qualify the person for this list.
A ‘Modern Academic Achiever’ within this context is defined as he/she who is the discoverer of an important discovery, or has produced an outstanding improvement or invention within any field, except for literature which is in a distinct separate section. This accomplishment(s) must be in an ideal direction which benefits humanity, and is not restricted to published accomplishments. To clarify this point: it may be a deed that benefits academia such as establishing a library, a school, a museum, et cetera.
The time frame of the achievement indicated by 'Modern' is being arbitrarily established as 1900 to present. We reserve the right to change this in the future. |

ترتيب الاسماء في قائمة العلماء الحديثين يكون حسب تأريخ الولادة اذا كان معلوماً. ان كان مجهولاً فيكون حسب تأريخ الولادة المقدر من قبل محررو موقعنا. تتضمن القائمة العالم المولود في العراق، المتدرب في العراق، او الذي انجز علمياً اثناء وجوده في العراق. التدريس بوحده اثناء الاقامة في العراق لا يوءهل الشخص لهذه القائمة
كنية العالم الحديث في مضمارنا هذا يعّرف بالذي (او التي) اكتشف اكتشافاً مهماً، او استحدث تحسناً بارزاً او اختراعاً في اي اختصاص، عدا الادب الذي له باب لوحده. يجب ان يكن الانجاز مفيداً للانسانية، و لا تقتصر على الانجازات المنشورة كتابةً. لتوضيح هذه النقطة: ممكن ان يكن الانجاز يخدم العلم مثلاً بناء او تأسيس مكتبة، مدرسة، متحف، الخ
الوقت المقصود بكلمة "الحديث" اختير تعسفاً بدءاً بسنة 1900 ميلادي. نحتفظ بحق تغيير التأريخ مستقبلاً لو رأينا ذلك مناسباً |
